1950 - King Princess

  • Pop. This track is King Princess’ debut single, and it’s a tribute to the 1952 book by Claire Morgan, The Price of Salt, as well as to the LGBTQ community & queer love.

Please Notice - Christian Leave

  • Soft pop love song with indie folk vibes.

Nothing - Noah Mac

  • Alternative/indie with old school R&B influence.

I Wouldn’t Know Any Better Than You - Gentle Bones

  • Pop. Started listening to this Singaporean artist during my first of two summers spent abroad in Singapore. A simple love song, a tinge of bittersweet.

Oil and Water - Rationale

  • Pop. Sean Lew was in Boston for a dance exhibition and he performed his choreography for this song, which is UNREAL. This kid is SIXTEEN.

Jiyo - Light Skinned Alien

  • R&B/Soul. Silky smooth vocals that reverberate and glide over the bass line.

Many Words - DROELOE

  • Dance/electronic. Makes me close my eyes and smile every time I hear it.

Wedding Crashers - Amine

  • Hip-hop/rap. Cheeky, catchy vocals dedicated any and all of Amine’s exes (and yours???).

New Religion - NSTASIA

  • R&B/Soul. After falling in love with Favor last month—NSTASIA’s collab with Skrillex and Vindata—I explored more of her solo tracks and fell in love with this.
